For our research post this time, we used a book called "The Role of Women in the 18th Century." This article focused on the roles of 18th century american women in politics, religion, education, and economics. I think this article was very easy to understand. Each chapter talked about a different aspect of the lives of women. It was very easy to gather information to use for our research post. I really enjoyed this article. The author went into great detail about the role in that aspect and why this change occurred. I also liked how the author compared it to the previous roles of women. Overall, this article was well written and easy to read and understand.

It was very easy to understand and it went into great detail about the role of women socially and politically. I liked how it also mentioned how the women had an impact on others in society and how important they were in the family life. We did not have a hard time finding this source. It was easy to find this source, which we chose because of its detail about every aspect of a woman's role in society. It fit the prompt of our blog very well. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this source.
Our scholarly source is a book called The Role of Women in the 18th Century. Compared to our last scholarly source, this source was easy to understand and explained the roles of women during the 1800s. It also talked about women in the court system, work place, war and religion, which was every interesting. It took us a while to find this source. I think its because nothing really changed for women from the 17th to 18 century. Overall, it was very interesting to read. |
