The first research post went really well. Finding a reliable source was a little difficult, but once we finalized a source, we found it to be very informative. It went into great detail about the role of women from the 1300's to the 1600's. The source was very descriptive in the role of women in society economically, socially, and religiously. Reading Working Women in English Society, 1300-1620 by Marjorie Keniston McIntosh really helped us understand the topic because it provided a lot of description about the jobs of women and their duties. We also got to learn about how the role of women changed after the Middle Ages and how they became more involved in the community and the market. Overall, I think this first post went very good. We worked well as a group and learned a lot about our topic!
